UI/UX Designer

We have openings at Quarter Pie Interactive Pvt. Ltd. for a UI-UX Designer with skills on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You should have knowledge of latest technologies, trends and a creative mind to share your ideas with the team or clients.

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and copywriters. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

Responsibilities

1. Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
2. Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
3. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
4. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
5. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
6. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
7. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
8. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements

1. Proven UI experience
2. Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
3. Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
4. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
5. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
6. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
7. Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
8. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
9. Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
10. BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
11. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
